Just using a plastic ringworm I didn't even have the chance to start to jig it when the fish took it. When we 1st weighed it after I caught it it was 10.5lbs. and we took it down to my uncle's sporting goods store and had it electronically weighed and it was 10lbs and about 28 inches. aint that fish nice312 viewscaught down at cascade creek in erie.the fish is either coho or king because the mouth is black all around the inside.caught on a black mini-fu jig.the steelhead start to migrate in from the lake when we get a cold front usually in late august.i hav kept track and the first cold front was mid september.so i caught this fish in early october.which means the fish migrated 7-15 miles from the lake to the bay.then another 3-4 miles to cascade creek .wht a tough fish to travel 10-22 miles in less then a monthkastmasterpro
